Rendez-vous littéraires in Morocco

The Diversity Space is proud to have spearheaded Les Rendez-vous littéraires au Maroc.
This initiative was developed in collaboration with the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ), the Quebec Office in Rabat, the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications (Culture et Communications Québec), the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC), the Association nationale des éditeurs de livres – ANEL, and Québec Édition.
Organized during the 27th edition of the Salon International de l’Edition et du Livre (SIEL) in Rabat, Les Rendez-vous littéraires in Morocco brought together authors, works, and audiences from Quebec and Africa around a shared passion: literature.
From June 6 to 11, 2022, four writers from Quebec—Olivia Tapiero, Perrine Leblanc, Mustapha Fahmi, and Soufiane Chakkouche—traveled to Rabat and Casablanca. They were accompanied by Selma Guessous, representative of Espace de la diversité and coordinator of Les Rendez-vous littéraires au Maroc.
