Rendez-vous littéraires in Ivory Coast

From May 9 to 16, 2025, writers from Quebec and Canada traveled to Abidjan, the capital of Ivory Coast, where the fourth edition of the Rendez-vous littéraires literary festival was held.
For a week, the city pulsated to the rhythm of exchanged words, in an atmosphere where art became a common language.

- Jérémie McEwen, writer and professor of philosophy
- Justice Mahoro Rutikara, filmmaker and screenwriter
- Philippe Néméh-Nombré, activist, researcher, and writer
- Radjoul Mouhamadou, political scientist and essayist
- Véronique Sylvain, poet

After Senegal, Morocco, and Palestine, this new edition continued the EDLD’s commitment to promoting literature from here and elsewhere, fostering intercultural dialogue.
This fourth edition of Rendez-vous littéraires was supported by:
