Kim Fu
Kim Fu is a Canadian author of Chinese descent. She grew up in British Columbia and now lives in Seattle, USA.She has written two novels, her first being For Today I am a Boy 1 1 Kim Fu, For today I am a boy, Héliotrope, 2014, 324 pages. received very positively by critics and recipient of the Edmund White Award for Debut Fiction. Her second novel, The Lost Girls of Camp Forevermore 2 2 Kim Fu, The lost Girls of Camp Forevermore, Kindle Edition, 2018, 256 pages. is a finalist for the Washington State Book Awards and the OLA Evergreen Award and has since been translated into French by Héliotrope under the title Cinq filles perdu à tout jamais. She has also published a collection of short stories, Lesser Known Monsters of the 21st Century 3 3 Kim Fu, Lesser Known Monsters of the 21st Century, Tin House Books, 2022 , finalist for the Scotiabank Giller Prize. She also produces electronic music under the name DJ Foof and co-hosts The Rough Puffs podcast.
