Jean-Pierre Gorkynian

Jean-Pierre Gorkynian is a Quebec novelist and screenwriter of Syrian origin. He was born in Montreal in 1986. He is interested in issues of identity linked to immigration. His first novel, Rescapé, was a finalist for the Grand prix littéraire Archambault and the prix du Premier roman de Chambéry. His second novel, Tireur embusqué, was published by Mémoire d’encrier in 2020, and in 2021 was a finalist for the Prix littéraire des collégiens.
