Elkahna Talbi
Elkahna Talbi is a poet, actress and slam artist, known as Queen Ka. She has published three books, Queen Ka sur papier (Somme Toute, 2023) and two poetry collections with Mémoire d’encrier, Moi figuier sous la neige (2018), Prix CoPo des lycéens, and Pomme Grenade (2021). To these can be added publications in collective works, such as Pulpe (Québec Amérique, 2017), and the co-creation, in 2018, of the show Fol ouvrage (Torcher des paillettes). Elkahna Talbi has played roles in several Quebec TV series and has made her mark on the theatrical stage in a dozen plays. Between 2010 and 2020, she presented several spoken word shows, including Chrysalides and Ceci n’est pas du slam; the latter earning her the “Cirque du soleil” prize at the Bourse Rideau.
