Passerelles

An initiative of Editions Mémoire d’encrier in collaboration with Espace de la diversité, Passerelles was born of the realization that racialized people are poorly represented in the literary and cultural milieu due to the prevailing systemic racism.

As a grassroots initiative whose aim was to combat all ideas and actions that tend to marginalize, Passerelles brought together some twenty authors, artists and cultural gatherers who worked together to create strong links, support and inspire each other.

The Passerelles initiative was supported by the Canada Council for the Arts.
